universal studios

went to universal studios with j and i had a really good time even though i only rode three rides. the transformers 3D ride and the battlestar galatica rollercoaster rides, both human (blue) and cylons (red). 

went around 10am+ and queue for the transformers ride first. the transformers ride is awesome! it's a new attraction at universal studios and LOTS of people were q-ing for it. luckily for j and i, we only had to wait an hour or so for our turn. his brother and his gf had to wait 2 hours+. crazy ><

i don't know whether there is still a long queue for the ride now but my advice would be to go there early in the morning around 10am+ and quickly queue for it first.

for the battlestar galatica rollercoaster rides, you're not allowed to have your bags or any loose items on you so you have to store them in the lockers provided. don't worry about paying though, it's free for the first 60 mins i think, depending on the wait time for the rides. if the wait time is longer, then the free locker period is longer. if you don't want to queue for both rides, go on the cylons ride. you can skip the humans one, it isn't that great.

for lunch, we went to godilocks in far far away. the fried chicken is really nice and crispy. the spicy thai flavour is way nicer than the original. do not order the mashed potatoes as a side! they are horrible! go for the coleslaw instead.

there are drinking fountains around universal studios, so if you wanna save on buying drinks, bring your own bottle and you can fill 'em up. we brought our own and accidentally left it at godilocks. d'oh!
