mum's last day

it was my mum's last day in perth yesterday and we had lunch at this lebanese restaurant. it wasn't bad except for the salad which is 90% parsley. yuck! hate parsley.

mum's flight was at 7.40am so had to be at the airport really early. no teary goodbyes though we all did get a bit teary. mum had the most noticeable teary eyes followed by nora and by me. the last time she left from perth, mum and nora cried. i didn't. ooooh yerrrhh.....

mum marinated a lot of chicken (4kg) and beef (6kg), korean style. yum! had bulgolgi for dinner. dinner felt really different without mum here.

mum got me this rosary from korea. im not a catholic or christian. guess it's her way of giving me a safety amulet or like a chinese fu.

wrote down the recipes for korean dishes. im gonna try cooking them for j when he comes to perth ^^
